About Us
Every successful individual knows that his or her achievement depends on a community of persons working together.
Life Made New Ministries focuses on reaching the lost, broken, and the very “least of these” (Matthew 25:40). We go into the jails, prisons, the highways and the byways to spread the love of God and the saving truth and power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Life Made New Ministries was started in 2009 by founder and director, Sam Harter. He began this journey by going inside the jails and prisons as a minister of the Gospel, sharing God’s love and his testimony of what Jesus had done in his own life. What he found, as time went on, that there is a greater need to be met after they are released from incarceration. If they were going to succeed on the outside, they were going to need a new start. They would need a place to live, food, clothing, and the opportunity to find employment. It all began when Sam took two of these men into his own home. This would lead to a group transition home of 12 to 15 men, with plans of adding a second home in the future.
We are a one year faith based program dedicated to helping men and women who are incarcerated in our jails and prisons. Men and women who have been shackled by the chains of addiction and who need an opportunity for a new start in life. We introduce them to Jesus and provide a safe and loving environment in which they can grow in their personal relationship with Christ. We help equip them with the tools and resources they need to be successful and overcome obstacles they will encounter in their everyday life.
“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
To do all we can to help others fulfill God’s calling by helping those in need and aiding churches who want to establish a transition home in their area to do the same.
What We Believe
Mark 2:17 “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Isaiah 42:7 “To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.”
